JA & GE Meilicke homestead c-1911

This picture has shown up before, but this is a better copy.
http://meilickeancestors.blogspot.ca/2012/11/gustav-e-meilicke-draft.html
It is printed as a postcard, a common practice of the time. This originally said 1920, but may have been earlier. Note the axe sharpening stone with hand crank.
The back says c- 1911 Meadows, neighbors. Note that JA like to get into the pictures a bit. Could this mean the Gus had the camera?
Note the barn in the background. I have seen another picture of this barn, but could not locate it today. Some damage on the print. These two are contact prints.
JA and a thrashing machine. Could this be the Red River? of http://meilickeancestors.blogspot.ca/2013/04/artefact-little-level.html
