George Teter 1730-1798

A note from Kelvin:

I came across some information that seems to make some sense regarding the Teter name. It appears his name was John George aka Johann Georg. He descended from Hans Jorg DIETER. or John George DIETER. According to xpda.com the tree goes back to Quirinius Dieter 1555-1606(?).

Regarding Hans Jorg; He arrived in America on the ship Molly 30 sep 1727 and settled around Lancaster County, PA. He emigrated with his wife from Wurtenberg, Germany in 1727 on the ship Molly and signed the Oath of Allegiance at Philadelphia Sept 1727

Duchy of Württemberg

So this must be son George

Merry Christmas

Just a note to wish you all a happy solstice, merry christmas and happy new year and I hope you all are doing well. In addition, I hope for more input from the relatives on this

This year has been interesting for me. I am moving closer to retirement, and have started a retirement project, an ancestral blog. (http://meilickeancestors.blogspot.ca/) so far, it has been mainly information gathering for myself, and a few minor posts. In addition, I hope for more input from the relatives on this subject next year. It takes up time. I am still dealing with all the other issues in my life, as well. Some of these are taking up just too much time.

I hope you are all doing well.
